Research and Cognitive Neurology at Alzheimer’s Research and Treatment Center offers Clinical Trials, treatment and education for patients, families and Caregivers dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and memory disorders. For over 35 years, NAA has offered personalized service through Clinical Trials and Cognitive Neurological Service for individuals dealing with the challenges of Dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and other memory disorders not caused by trauma. NAA’s clinical research team is available for consultations and cognitive testing at no charge. Dr. Richard Holub is the President & Director of NAA. The clinical arm of NAA currently has a panel of over 5,000 patients and provides comprehensive Research Options & Cognitive Neurological services to over 2,500 patients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, MCI or other forms of dementia not caused by trauma.
Dr. Holub has been conducting Phase II and Phase III clinical trials for more than 35 years. He conducted over 120 successful clinical trials and that research work played a significant role in the investigation of all 5 drugs currently approved by the FDA for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
The Research Center and Cognitive Neurology Clinic offers certified clinical research coordinators, nurses, psychomatricians, physician assistants, a second neurologist and primary care physicians. The office has a fully functioning lab, an infusion suite, exam rooms and testing rooms. NAA also has long standing professional relationships with a number of local imaging centers and other specialists which allows for the conduct all of the activities that are typically part of standard clinical trials and cognitive neurological services.
